October and Halloween are around the corner

by webdev

September 27, 2011

As the month of September comes to a close, many are thinking ahead to a month filled with pumpkins, apples and taking part in other fall traditions.

Many people are taking to nearby mountains to enjoy a hike through the foliage, while others are headed to the apple orchards or farmer's markets to take their share of the season's bounty. Bring the colors of the season indoors with a gorgeous bouquet of autumn flowers like sunflowers. Chrysanthemums are also great for decorating and can be great indoor plants. Other autumnal bouquets can mimic the fall's colorful show with orange, maroon and gold roses, daisies and lilies.

For children, October means Halloween. Most children have their costume picked out by now, but if not, they may fall back on classic costumes like witches, ghosts, Jack-O-Lanterns, and black cats. Encourage their joy over the season with a festive bouquet of Halloween flowers or other Halloween décor. Children will delight in flowers presented in a pumpkin vase, or an arrangement featuring a spooky spider or bat. If you know a family with Halloween-loving kids, you can easily send Halloween flowers online.
