Teleflora's Make Someone Smile Week started off this past Sunday, July 17, and will run until the 23rd. Even with just a day gone by, the high numbers that were expected seem to be holding up. In Mount Morris, Michigan, June's Floral Company is donating 600 smiley faced mugs to local veterans hospitals and medical centers, according to the Saginaw News.
The florist will be donating lavish designs of red, white and blue flowers to these veterans. There will be 12 vehicles full of these bloom arrangements that will be distributed starting Monday morning, according to the media outlet.
"It is our goal to strongly show our support to our Veterans, whom have sacrificed so much for our country. This is just a small token of our appreciation and we wish to make them smile," June's Floral Company owner Waneita Bovan told the news source.
According to the Atlanta-based news channel WGCL-TV, several Be Happy Bouquets are expected to brighten the day of many seniors at the Summer's Landing Assisted Living center this coming Wednesday.
