Macy's annual Flower Show wows guests

Macy's annual Flower Shower in New York City is in full swing and this year, the event organizers have decided to bring in some tropical wonders. CBS News reports that flower show attendees will be able to feast their eyes on this year's theme of Brazilian Garden of Paradise, complete with bold colors and magnificent statues made solely from flowers.

The main showstopper at the event is a giant toucan on display that is made entirely out of fresh flowers. Elina Kazan, Macy's spokeswoman, reports there are thousands of unique and wonderful flowers on display, but the toucan continues to be the favorite attraction among guests.

"You have to have your picture taken by the toucan," Kazan told the publication. "It has Brazilian button flowers that are all dried that cover the beak and it is just stunning."

Those who love unique flowers but who won't be able to make the trek to New York to take in the fabulous flower show can still achieve that fresh flower smell at home by ordering affordable flowers for spring. There is no better way to celebrate the warm weather while adding a pop of color to your home than with spring tulips.
