Summer brings many people outdoors to enjoy the warm weather, whether they are going to the beach or setting up a picnic. Several of these people are also enjoying the beauty of the summer flowers that are finally in full bloom. In Charleston, Illinois, the library at the Eastern Illinois University has set up an exhibit for the public to enjoy the daylily flower, according to Daily Eastern News.

The library will be hosting the exhibit for the remainder of the summer, which teaches about the daylily flower by showcasing the different varieties, according to the media outlet.

"In terms of type, they're all the same flower. There's different colors, different types of shapes, but they're all one variety of flower," John Whisler, head of cataloging services at the library, told the news source.

There are several flower festivals at this time of year around the world. According to the Gazette and Herald, there will be a a flower festival starting this week that highlights several summer flower arrangements at a couple of churches in Pickering, England.
