Give Thanksgiving flowers a New England appeal

Whether you live in the handful of northeastern states that comprise New England or not, this region is responsible for some of the most classically attractive Thanksgiving decor in the nation - after all, that is where it all started.

Cornucopias for Thanksgiving are one of the most classic decorations, evoking the season's harvest. The Classic Cornucopia from Teleflora takes an elegant spin on this design by filling a traditional wicker cornucopia with bright sunflowers, warm orange roses and burgundy daisies. Cinnamon sticks and harvest wheat add an extra touch of fall spirit to the arrangement, which is the perfect Thanksgiving centerpiece.

Another way to evoke the spirit of the first Thanksgiving is to choose an arrangement that features blooms that might be seen in the Northeast. While roses and lilies can make gorgeous Thanksgiving centerpieces, you won't find them blooming in Maine in late November. Instead, opt for an arrangement of fall sunflowers, spray chrysanthemums and oak leaves. Teleflora's Pretty Pumpkin Bouquet features these blooms arranged in a hand-painted ceramic pumpkin - a perfectly charming New England touch for your Thanksgiving table.
