Madisonville Garden Club, which is located in Madisonville, Louisiana, is hosting its annual flower show at the end of this month. This year, the event's theme is Madisonville Bicentennial, and will be held at the town hall, according to The Times-Picayune.

There are four different divisions within which individuals can enter their floral designs. These include horticulture, history of the town, the wetlands and a fun section. Each of these categories will accept local spring flowers and plants in different arrangements.

Judges will pick the first - second - and third-place winners and honorable mention within each of the four categories. In addition, these 12 individuals will choose the best in show, which will be the winner of the entire spring flower event, according to the media outlet.

Spring is underway, and many towns around the world are showcasing their local flowers and plants at various events. For example, in Muswell Hills, England, the district horticultural society recently hosted a spring show that included daffodils and tulips, photography exhibits, and places to purchase home-made baked goods, according to the Hornsey Journal.
