Flash mob surprises Boston Flower Show attendees

by webdev

March 31, 2011

Individuals visiting the annual Boston Flower Show got more than they bargained for with the price of admission recently.

Attendees viewing the cutting edge floral designs, gardens and displays were taken off guard when a flash mob began performing.

About 50 dancers promoting a production of the musical Hair ascended on the show and began performing right in the middle of the weekend crowd.

While the performance didn't do anything to enhance the beauty of the blooms at the show, it did give visitors something to talk about.

In addition to the displays at the show, the event featured floral design classes for those who want to create stunning arrangements at home.

A flower show is a great resource for floral enthusiasts and beginners alike to get ideas and inspiration for their own gardens and arrangements as well as to meet local professionals.

Viewing displays and attending workshops at an event like a flower show may also encourage individuals to purchase a spring flower bouquet for themselves or someone else to celebrate the new season and the beauty of nature.
